History of Tenpin Bowling in the UK Part 92 – Arrow Bowl Doncaster Road Scunthorpe Lincolnshire

By Tenpin Bowling Proprietors Association President John Ashbridge

The first tenpin bowling centre to open in the Lincolnshire town of Scunthorpe was the 18 lane Arrow Bowl which is recorded as opening on the 16th November 1964. It is believed to have been equipped with lanes and machines supplied by the Brunswick Corporation. Very little more is known about the centre as no record of it can be found after about 1967.
