By Tenpin Bowling Proprietors Association President John Ashbridge

Universal Bowl King Street Leigh Lancashire

Universal Bowling opened, what was its second centre, in Leigh on 11th January 1964. It was an 18-lane centre equipped with AMF lanes and machines. Very little else is known about the centre and in the 1965-67 Tenpin Pictorial Bowling Yearbook the centre was no longer listed.
