Scotlanes Llanelli Bowl Town Hall Square Llanelli Carmarthenshire

This 10-lane centre, the first tenpin bowling centre in Wales, opened on 23rd June 1963. Situated on the ground floor of a building which also contained the Glen Ballroom on the first floor, the centre’s bowling equipment was supplied by the Brunswick Corporation with A2 type pinsetters installed. There is very little information available about this centre but it was known to still be operating in 1972.
